Andre Palko was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug when at the age of 12 he began selling flower seeds and delivering grocery store flyers door-to-door in his hometown of Frederick, MD. His intro to the printing industry came while he was playing bass guitar for a New York City rock & roll band in 1980. The bands lead singer/songwriter was part of a family printing business and it wasn’t long before Andre was packing boxes, running a folding machine, and learning the printing and bindery trade by day, while taking classes at Columbia University and playing clubs by night.
